ADD en omgaan met kritiek

Hoe leer ik omgaan met kritiek?

I guess I was lucky in the way I was raised becaused my parents taught me that if you weren't being criticized you probably were not saying anything important. No one likes criticism, so there is normal not to welcome it.

However, as I said, you can put a different spin as to its relevence and personal meaning. There are always going to be negative people. I am even make a living from it. I once gave a talk in hich I received thousands of supportive remarks and three negatives. There will always be someone who is against anything and someone for the same things - aspects of human nature.

Bottom line: there is a balance of interaction we must have with the world, but it is our choice that we can have as to what parts of the world deserve our respect. As Jesus said, "do not throw your food before the swine." (He had his criticism in big time.)

Remember that it takes courage to be yourself and express your truth. This is a mission for which you have chosen and have been chosen. Wear your shield proudly and know how important you are.
